we plan to provide free congenital heart surgery to children who otherwise could not survive without the procedure. We partner with local hospital to provide this life-saving procedure to the indigent children of Cambodia
The poorest of the poor children in Cambodia who otherwise will not live their 2nd birthday. These children are the most needed children because their parents don't have the means to get the surgery done
The great impact of this project is the life saving that lasts a life time. The project will be sustainable by training local providers to eventually be independently carry on these surgery to serve hundred of children not thousand of children
This is just a short brief of my trip to Cambodia. This a first site visit to a hospital where our team will perform pediatric cardiac surgery, inaugural project that will take place in February 2026.
