I plan to join a global surgical mission to Ghana to deliver anesthesia care. By supporting surgeries in resource-limited settings. Every procedure is a chance to change a life- and every life changed ripples outward into families and communities.
The mission serves both pediatric and adult population. Why this population? In this particular region of Ghana, children and adults live with treatable conditions simply because surgical care isn’t available or affordable. By serving this population, we are not just fixing physical problems-we are restoring hope, mobility, and dignity. It’s about healing individuals and strengthening entire communities.
The expected impact is life changing for patients, families, and communities. Surgeries restore mobility, relieve pain, and correct conditions that often carry social stigma. Children can return to school, adults can work again, and families regain hope.
