Trip Photos & Recap

Our medical mission to Kampala, Uganda served as a powerful reminder of what motivates so many of us to pursue a career in medicine. Working alongside an extraordinary team of nurses, technologists, and physicians, we had the privilege of caring for patients who often have limited access to healthcare—many traveling long distances and waiting for hours to receive specialized care.

Witnessing the resilience and resourcefulness of both the patients and the local healthcare team was deeply humbling and grounding. Their dedication, perseverance, and sense of community left a lasting impression on all of us.

I am deeply grateful to the Doximity Foundation for supporting initiatives like this, which enable physicians to deliver care where it is most needed. Experiences like these create opportunities to make meaningful differences in the lives of others while also renewing our own sense of purpose and commitment as healthcare providers.
