My first ever mission trip was AMAZING! The trip was to Mameyes Clinic in Utado, Puerto Rico. About a week before the mission patients of the community were informed there would be pulmonologists, cardiologists, gynecology, and otolaryngolists available to see patients. The patient's chief complaints ranged from acute, chronic, and follow-up chief complaints. These patients have limited access to medical specialists, and were able to get proper assessment and medication management.
