Underserved pediatric patients with untreated urologic conditions and burns
The surgeons have been going to this mission over a decade. I would provide anesthesia. There is ongoing education at the site.
Thank you to the Doximity Foundation for supporting our Ohana One trip to Guatemala. We were able to do 60 pediatric urologic and plastic surgery procedures. My anesthesiology colleagues and I were also able to teach senior medical students from Guatemala City who were on their Anesthesiology rotation. We made lasting connections and hope to return next year!
