Deliver specialized surgical care to the communities we visit. We hope to build partnerships with local medical providers through education and support, ensuring continuity of care for patients. Finally, we hope to empower individuals with skills and knowledge to care for their local populations
Wonderful trip with a great team of ENT surgeons with Operation International to Livingstone, Zambia
We did quite a few cases in the span of 5 days and helped the local hospital clear backlog of surgeries. Additionally complex head and neck cases done by our ENTs that otherwise could not have been done locally. Time was also spent teaching residents and students. The hospital staff and community appreciated us being there and we look forward to repeat missions.
