Project Description

Join a group of physicians for medical mission in Mexico. Mission will be coordinated by local church in Miami, Florida (Jesus Worship Center, Doral). Our mission is to provide compassionate medical, eye and dental care to underserved community in Mexico, where access to basic healthcare services is extremely limited. Will improve both short-term well-being and long-term health awareness.

Population Served

Women, men and kids in town. This town only have 2 physicians and a small hospital. They have significant barriers to healthcare access, particularly for low-income residents. Many individuals lack the financial resources, transportation, or timely access to receive consistent medical, dental, and vision care.

Expected Impact

Expect to see 500-600 patients. We will collaborate with local healthcare providers and community leaders in Loreto. We aim to build ongoing relationships that allow for future missions, continuity of care.

Trip Photos & Recap

Because of your generosity, I had the incredible privilege of participating in a life changing medical mission to Loreto, Mexico. Thanks to your support, I was able to join an extraordinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to bringing essential medical care to an underserved community.

In just two days, we cared for patients from Loreto and the surrounding villages, providing medical, gynecological, dental, and optometry services. We were also honored to care for children from the local orphanage and women who are survivors of abuse-individuals whose strength and resilience left a lasting impression on all of us.

For many of our patients, this was their first encounter with a dentist, an optometrist , or a routine gynecological examination. Something as simple as receiving a pair of glasses, relief from chronic dental pain, preventive healthcare or basic medications for their illnesses became a life changing experience. Witnessing the gratitude on their faces was a powerful reminder that access to healthcare is a gift many people around the world still do not have.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of the Doximity Foundation and donors like you. Your support did much more than sponsor my trip, it made compassionate, high quality healthcare accessible to hundreds of people who otherwise might have gone without it. Every patient we treated, every smile we restored , and every life we touched was possible because you chose to invest in this mission.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in the power of service and for making this experience possible. The memories I carry from Loreto will stay with me forever, and I know the impact of your generosity will remain with the community long after our mission ended.

I hope you will continue to support future medical missions so that more healthcare professionals can answer the call to serve and more communities can receive the care they so desperately need. Together, we can continue to bring healing, hope, and dignity to those who need it most.

Thank you for making a profound difference, not only in the life of one grateful physician who was honored to serve because of your kindness and generosity.
