I plan to travel with a Doctors Without Borders group, called International Medical Relief, a nonprofit organization, to Durham in South Africa. We plan to serve villages of people who are underserved medically and many of these patients have no regular access to care. I plan to use my medical training as a doctor to help those in need in these underserved areas.
Small towns and villages in South Africa that have very little access to medical care. Many of these small villages have people that need medical care and have no access to it.
I hope to serve as many people as possible that need medical care in these underserved areas, and I plan to teach preventative care as well. These skills can be used by this population to keep healthy for many years forward. What I contribute to these underserved populations can be used to plan for future treatment and trips to these medically underserved areas.
We provided medical care to underprivileged community in South Africa. We administered medications, medical care, and much needed support to this community.
