Provide anesthesia to a rural area in Ghana with a group of general surgeons and OBGYN
Uninsured and rural villagers
I will also be teaching the local anesthesia providers some of my skills like how to use ultra sound

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Assin Fosu in rural Ghana—a place close to my heart, yet one whose healthcare realities I had never truly encountered, even as someone who grew up in the country. In a community where medical resources are scarce, we were privileged to both share the gospel of Jesus Christ and provide much-needed surgical care, including numerous gynecological procedures and hernia repairs.
The response was humbling. Many patients expressed profound gratitude, some bringing bananas as simple but sincere gifts of thanks. Perhaps most moving was the chance to intervene for new mothers who had delivered their babies but remained unable to leave the facility simply because they could not afford the cost of care. By covering those bills, we helped restore dignity and hope, allowing families to go home together.
This trip was a powerful reminder of how spiritual and physical needs are often intertwined—and how even a short season of service can leave a lasting mark. Thank you for making it possible for me to be there.
