Provide anesthesia services for surgical patients during June 25th and July 1st 2022. Services will be provided for endocrine (mainly thyroidectomies) and General surgical procedure in Kigali, Rwanda.
Underserved 3rd world community with multiple medical comorbidities who otherwise have no access to quality surgeons and anesthesia services. This will cover wide range of age group population. Expecting to perform around 10 cases per day.
Provide excellent opportunity to local population and access to well trained medical professionals. It will have long term impact with teaching and learning for professionals providing those services.
Underserved community of Kigali, Rwanda was served with US trained team of Surgeon, Anesthesia providers, nurses and technicians to perform 5-6 Total thyroidectomy and general surgical procedures per day. Patients came from distance to receive medical and surgical care in Kigali. Very rewarding and satisfying trip to Rwanda.
